What Products do you use?

All the products we use at Wharfside Car Valet car wash are made by Auto Glym. Auto Glym have an excellent market leading range of products that we enjoy using, also giving fantastic results every time.

Do I need to be present whilst you valet my vehicle?

No you do not need to be present. We will conveniently valet your vehicle whilst you work or shop. All we require is you book your vehicle in at our office, leave your name and contact details , tell us what service you require and what time you would like to collect your vehicle. Payment will be collected upon completion of the vehicle with the return of your keys.

How long will it take for my car to be valeted?

The length and time taken to valet a vehicle can vary depending upon condition and the size of the vehicle. A Silver service will normally take 30mins to complete, A Gold service between 45min & 1 hour and the Platinum service between 1 & 1 ½ hours. If the service is an Interior or Full Valet we will require the vehicle to be with us for at least 3 to 4 hours.

What are your opening hours?

Wharfside Car Valet is open Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00, Saturday 09:00 to 17:00 and Sunday 12:00 to 17:00 (Canada Square Car park Only). We are located at the Cabot Square Car park and Canada Square Car Park (underneath Waitrose )

Why is there a price increase for larger vehicles?

At Wharfside Car Valet we charge more for larger vehicles such as 4×4 and MPV this is purely because they require extra time and extra cleaning products than smaller vehicles.
What is difference between a Polish and a Wax?

The difference between a Polish and a Wax is that a Polish on your vehicle will act as a moisturiser to your paintwork and enriches the colour and lustre whereas a wax will add shine and give a protective coating by sealing the paintwork. We recommend using Auto Glym High Definition Wax for that ultimate finish and would also recommend that you polish or wax your car after every 3 to 6 washes.

Do I have to pay for parking?

There is a car park fee at our Canada Square Car Park. This is an hourly fee please see the Canary Wharf website for more information. At Cabot Square we are situated outside the car park, so once your car is completed we will contact you to arrange collection of your vehicle. We will only keep your vehicle on site for 2 hours, if your vehicle is not collected after the 2 hour period we will then park your vehicle at the Cabot Square Car Park and an hourly fee will apply.

What payments do you accept?

We accept most debit/credit cards. The only card we do not accept is American Express

Do I need to book my vehicle in or can I just arrive?

There is no need to book we will valet your car during the working day, working around you and your schedule.

Do you clean Motorbikes?

Yes, we clean motorbikes, however we’re not licensed to ride motorbikes. Should you require your motorbike cleaned you must bring your motorbike to us at our Cabot square site or Canada Square site for cleaning. When your motorbike is ready we will call you and you must collect your motorbike before we close for security reasons.
